For the production of complex steel components in smaller series, Cirex has established a modern investment casting facility in the Czech Republic. Cirex can also produce larger castings here. Flexible production is paramount. Although manufacturing takes place in the Czech Republic, all coordination and communication are managed from the headquarters in the Netherlands. Reliable quality at Czech prices. The melting capacity is 800 tons of steel per year, with series sizes ranging from 10 to 50,000 pieces per year.

In October 2016, a new International Standard, IATF 16949:2016, replaced ISO/TS 16949:2009. The goal of this International Standard is the development of a quality management system that:<ul><li>Provides for continual improvement</li><li>Emphasizes defect prevention</li><li>Includes specific requirements and tools from automotive industry</li><li>Promotes reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain</li></ul>This International Standard, coupled with applicable customer-specific requirements, defines the fundamental quality management system requirements for automotive production, service and/or accessory parts organizations.

ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

CIREX's headquarters and knowledge center are located in Almelo, Netherlands. Our team of experts, including engineers, product developers, metallurgists, and technicians, oversee the entire production process. Our automated facility is ideal for producing large to very large series of steel components. We work closely with customers to develop and produce custom steel components, ranging from 10,000 to 5,000,000 units per year.

AS9100 is the internationally recognised quality management system specific to the aerospace and defence industries.&nbsp;With this certification, Signicast customers in the defence, aerospace and aviation sectors will see a reduction in process qualification lead time. The rigour of the AS9100 quality management system often exceeds organisation-specific requirements in the aerospace and defence industries, effectively eliminating the lengthy time associated with full process qualification.

Supplier Quality Manual

ISO 13485:2016 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Such organisations can be involved in one or more stages of the life cycle, including design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, or servicing of a medical device and design and development or provision of associated activities (e.g. technical support). ISO 13485:2016 can also be used by suppliers or external parties that provide product, including quality management system-related services to such organisations.

NADCAP is an industry-managed approach to conformity assessment that brings together technical experts from both industry and government to establish accreditation requirements, accredit suppliers and define operational programme requirements. Signicast’s Hartford facility is the most technologically advanced facility of its kind in the world. The 654,559-square foot facility is divided into seven fully automated modules, delivering shorter lead times than any other investment casting company in the industry. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility includes highly automated casting and secondary operations modules that use continuous flow manufacturing. The entire complex—from top to bottom and from one end to the other—is designed to support the efficient, uninterrupted flow of products. Nearly every part of the facility is dedicated to helping customers maximise their profitability.
