Signicast is founded and begins selling metal boat transoms for the yachts in Milwaukee Harbor.
Bill Lewis buys the company and establishes the business as an investment casting company.
Brown Deer Casting (BDC) plant established.
Walter "Terry" Lutz joins Signicast in 1974, quickly rising to Vice President and then President in 1978, before purchasing the company in 1981 and transforming it into the largest and most automated investment caster in the USA.
The Hartford Manufacturing Complex (HMC) Module 1 officially opens in June 1993, just 13 months after construction began.
Hartford Manufacturing Complex (HMC) Module 7 opens.
Dynacast acquires Signicast, expanding material choices, design freedom, part complexity, and volume.
On Tuesday, January 9th, 2018, Signicast, Dynacast, and OptiMIM becomes a family of brands under a newly formed entity, Form Technologies.
