For the production of complex steel components in smaller production runs, Cirex has established a modern investment casting facility in the Czech Republic. Cirex can also produce larger castings here. Flexible production is paramount. Although production takes place in the Czech Republic, all coordination and communication are handled from the headquarters in the Netherlands. Reliable quality at Czech prices. Melting capacity is 800 tons of steel per year; series sizes vary between 10 and 50,000 pieces per year.

In October 2016, a new International Standard, IATF 16949:2016, replaced ISO/TS 16949:2009. The goal of this International Standard is to develop a quality management system that:<ul><li>Provides for continual improvement</li><li>Emphasises defect prevention</li><li>Includes specific requirements and tools from the automotive industry</li><li>Promotes the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain</li></ul>This International Standard, together with applicable customer-specific requirements, defines the fundamental quality management system requirements for organisations involved in automotive production, service and/or accessory parts.

ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organisation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities systematically in a manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

CIREX's headquarters and knowledge centre are located in Almelo, Netherlands. Our team of experts, including engineers, product developers, metallurgists and technicians, oversees the entire production process. Our automated facility is ideal for producing large to very large production runs of steel components. We work closely with customers to develop and produce custom steel components, ranging from 10,000 to 5,000,000 units per year.

AS9100 is the internationally recognised quality management system specifically for the aerospace and defence industries.&nbsp;With this certification, Signicast customers in the defence, aerospace and aviation sectors will benefit from reduced process qualification lead times. The rigour of the AS9100 quality management system often exceeds organisation-specific requirements in the aerospace and defence industries, effectively eliminating the lengthy time associated with full process qualification.

This certificate confirms that Signicast has established and applies a quality management system. The system was audited in accordance with European Directive 2014/68/EU, Annex I, Par. 4.3, with regard to the materials listed in the scope of approval.

Supplier Quality Manual

ISO 13485:2016 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Such organisations can be involved in one or more stages of the life cycle, including the design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, or servicing of a medical device, and the design and development or provision of associated activities (e.g. technical support). ISO 13485:2016 can also be used by suppliers or external parties that provide products, including quality management system-related services, to such organisations.

NADCAP is an industry-managed approach to conformity assessment that brings together technical experts from industry and government to establish accreditation requirements, accredit suppliers and define operational programme requirements. Signicast’s Hartford location is the most technologically advanced facility of its kind in the world. The 654,559-square foot location is divided into seven fully automated modules, delivering faster lead times than any other investment casting company in the industry. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility includes highly automated casting and secondary operation modules that use continuous flow manufacturing. The entire complex—from top to bottom, one end to the other—is designed to facilitate the efficient, uninterrupted flow of products.
