Human Resources Coordinator
Contact Person: Human Resources
Job Description: 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with the creation, implementation and maintenance of employer policies and procedures including an Affirmative Action Plan. Extensive experience with recruiting for both hourly and salary positions within manufacturing industries using a wide variety of tools and approaches. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential at all levels of the organization. Well developed interviewing skills with a track record of successfully on-boarding the right talent for the position and company Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. Advanced computer skills are required ˇV experience with Access is a plus. Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple demands to meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work in support of a multi-site, 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in recruiting preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices are key
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word important

1. Administer interview process of potential candidates for both hourly and salary openings and conduct job related skill testing, verify education, reference & background check of candidates and by arranging pre-employment drug testing appointments. 2.Facilitate on-boarding process as well as conduct and continually improve on Signicast new-hire orientation process. 3.Enter performance evaluations and payroll changes into Access database. 4. Compile and maintain records for use in FMLA administration and short-term disability payments. 5. Handle general questions regarding Human Resources forms, procedures, and policies. 6. Communicate with Managers and Supervisors on personnel issues. 7. Input/update required personnel information in the Signicast Access database. 8. Respond to Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims and, when necessary, attend UI Hearings. 9. Assist the Human Resources Manager in administration of the Signicast disciplinary process in support of company managers and supervisors. 10. Assists Human Resources Manager and management with various duties related to maintaining company Human Resources functions.


Account Manager - Sales
Contact Person: Human Resources
Job Description: The ideal candidate for this position will have well-developed communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment. Individual chosen must work effectively with our customers, sales representatives, and co-workers. The position involves customer relationship building, new program development, account profitably and problem solving for our customers. Primary responsibility is new business development and new prospect conversion. Individuals chosen are required to work from our offices out of Hartford, WI. Travel is required.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year business or technical degree
  • 5-7 years successful Sales Experience
  • Negotiation and Project Management skills
  • Sales of engineered product experience required with experience in investment castings
  • Profit and loss responsibility
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Technical ability to interpret drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Maintenance Technician

Job Description: Currently we are looking to add a highly motivated, results-oriented person to our Maintenance team in Hartford, WI. The position will be on the night shift from 6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3, 12-hour schedule. The ideal candidate must have all-around maintenance skills and a strong mechanical background. Candidates should be experienced in the following areas:

Qualifications:

• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems • Hydraulic and Machine repair • Plumbing • Welding • Fabrication • HVAC • PLC experience is a plus • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Moldmaker
Contact Person: Human Resources
Job Description: The Moldmaker at Signicast is responsible for the manufacture and repair of jigs, fixtures and custom machined components, as well as the construction, maintenance and modification of wax pattern tooling. This position is for our night team working a 12-hour shift from 6PM to 6AM on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working then 3 days off).

Qualifications:

-Operational knowledge of all manual tool room equipment required. -Some CNC experience advantageous, but not required. -Minimum four years experience as a Moldmaker.


Customer Support

Job Description: The Customer Support position will be filled by an experienced person with well developed communication, organizational and problem solving skills that can thrive in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Individual chosen must work confidently with our sales representatives, customers and co-workers. The position involves customer relations, pricing, forecasting, account profitability and some travel.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years inside sales experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical proficiency and ability to read blueprints
  • Proficiency in personal computer use and all communication forms
