Controller
Contact Person: Human Resources
Job Description: This position reports to the Vice President of Finance and is responsible for day to day general accounting duties and supervision of clerical staff to include accounts payable, cash application, payroll clerk, and cost accountant. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Month-end close and related reporting
  • Account analysis
  • Sales and use taxes (determining taxability)
  • Investment accounting
  • Fixed asset accounting (capitalizing, depreciating, disposing)
  • Cash balancing (cash to cover expenditures vs. investments)
  • Inventory accounting- quantities entered and analyzed, inventory valued
  • Communicating 401k contribution and employee information to 401k record keeper
  • Identify cost savings
  • Process improvements
  • Regular plant tours
  • Assist in annual financial statement audit
  • Year-end physical inventory coordination with auditors and company
  • Compile various information for tax return
  • Real estate and personal property tax returns
  • Preparation and filling 1099s
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 4-10 years in similar role in manufacturing company
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Access skills preferred, but not required
  • Sales and use tax (WI) experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Conscious of internal controls

    Account Manager

    Job Description: The ideal candidate for this position will have well-developed communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment. Individuals chosen must work effectively with our customers, sales representatives, and co-workers. The position involves customer relationship building, new program development, account profitably and problem solving for our customers. Individuals chosen are required to work from our offices out of Hartford, WI. Travel is required.

    Qualifications:

    Engineering Manager
    Contact Person: Human Resources
    Job Description: This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and a team of engineers. The primary responsibilities include managing all engineering functions in a manufacturing plant to produce high quality investment casting and their machining operations, including customer contact and part design, tooling, fixturing, gaging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, cost, profitability, rapid prototyping and finishing processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
    • 8-10 years of project engineering experience including managing multiple engineers
    • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
    • Excellent Project Management Skills in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
    • Knowledge of continuous flow manufacturing principles and machining, a plus.
    • Investment casting, foundry and machining experience desired
    • PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office software and 3D solid modeling


    Manufacturing Technician

Employees will enjoy working a rotating 2-2-3 schedule on 12 hour shifts with every other Fri/Sat/Sun off..


    Marketing Coordinator
    Contact Person: Human Resources
    Job Description: Signicast Corporation is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator whom will work with the management team at Signicast to develop and implement marketing and marketing communication plans, and oversee and execute all marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will be engaged in key projects and initiatives to drive new revenues and improve processes. In addition, this individual will work with our sales team to develop leads, plan and assist sales representative meetings, partner with outside vendors and agencies, and coordinate with our human resources department. This person will also be responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed throughout the entire team on schedule.

    Qualifications:

  • Understanding of marketing principles levers and the relationships between them (pricing, market share, customer marketing, customer segmentations, product life cycle, sales incentives, etc…)
  • Experience in creating strategic plans supporting selling efforts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective-working relationships with customers, community groups, volunteers, employees, and local media
  • Ability to use imagination and creativity in developing ideas and materials
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and business systems
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be organized and self motivated
  • Must be dedicated, loyal, and assertive
  • 3-5 years Public Relations/Marketing Communications experience in B2B
  • Previous agency experience a plus
  • BA/BS in marketing communications or a related discipline

    Moldmaker

    Job Description: This position is responsible for the manufacture and repair of jigs, fixtures and custom machine components. Maintenance and modification of existing wax pattern tooling. Operational knowledge of all manual tool room equipment required. Some CNC experience advantageous, but not required. Minimum four years experience as a toolmaker.


    Project Engineer
    Contact Person: Human Resources
    Job Description: We are looking for a results driven individual, responsible for launching new products in a job shop type environment. A highly positive ‘we can do it’ approach required. This individual will manage projects from the design stage, all the way through shipping of quality production castings. Includes tooling, fixtures, gauging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, costs, profitability, and customer contact and correspondence.

    Qualifications:

    • High energy positive approach – desire to work with customers in an engineering/sales environment. Adaptable communication styles – written and verbal. Also, excellent, demonstrated, hands on, problem solving skills.
    • A minimum of five - 10 years experience. IC or other experience in a manufacturing environment where new parts or new products are brought to production. Could be other casting processes, stampings, forgings, powdered metal or an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). A four year Bachelor of Science degree.
    • Good blueprint reading skills including a working knowledge of geometric tolerances. Experienced in the design and procurement of tooling, fixturing and gauging using in-house and/or outside tool room resources. Experience with dimensional layouts and statistical process control. Ability to create production processing instructions and visual inspection standards. Access based instructions with digital photos. Bottom line orientation - responsible for profitability, costs, scrap and part pricing.
    • Computer literate – MS Office applications – CAD system UG, ProE required.
    • Desire to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic organization with high personal visibility.
