Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description:  

Currently we are looking to add a highly motivated, results-oriented person to our Maintenance Team in Hartford, WI.  The position will be on either our day shift 6 am to 6 pm or on our night shift from 6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3, 12 hour schedule. 

 The ideal candidate for this position will have outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast paced highly automated work environment.  Individuals chosen must be able to think on their feet and work effectively with co-workers.


Candidates must have all-around technical knowledge of electro-mechanical maintenance activities and must have experienced in the following areas:

  • Troubleshooting electrical (480v-3 phase to control voltage, dc, electrical schematics, servo drives)
  • Troubleshooting mechanical (Alignments, gear box rebuilds, belt replacement and tensioning)
  • Hydraulic / Pneumatic system repairs (Rebuild pumps/cylinders, piping, running tube and pipe, making hoses)
  • PLC (A/B SLC 500, RS Logics, ladder diagrams, CompacLogix, Device Net)
  • Robotic (PM’s, homing, mastering, teach pendant)
  • Welding (mig, tig, stick, arc, plasma, cutting torch)
  • Fabrication (mill, lathe, ability to read prints)
  • Other (sweat copper, run pipe threader)
  • Safety (LO/TO, fall protection, fork lift operation, hot work, arc flash protection)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office

New Product Launch Engineering Manager

Job Description:

The New Product Launch Manager at Signicast is dynamic and highly motivated individual that has the ability to manage a group of highly skilled engineers and work with cross functional teams within Signicast and our customers. This person will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing in order to exceed our customer’s expectations during new product launch and fuel future growth here at Signicast.

Role & Responsibilities -

  • Understand our customer/prospect markets and identify critical factors needed to close and successfully launch new parts.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams involving manufacturing, purchasing, engineering and sales to improve the overall launch process at Signicast.
  • Manage the New Product Engineering team meeting corporate goals and objectives.
    • Continuously improve the new product launch process at Signicast.
    • Identify risk factors to prevent or minimize potential impact for all stakeholders.
    • Develop a high performance culture within the New Product Launch Engineering group.
    • Improve all customer touch points during NPL process.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to improve lead generation and higher close rates.
  • Report bi-monthly status on new project pursuit and launch.
  • Interface with entire customer and prospect base effectively.
  • Show a commitment to self- improvement learning best practices in both new product launch and investment casting techniques.
  • Actively participate in R&D activities within Signicast.

Qualifications -

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of new product launch and sales experience.
  • Previous experience in managing Engineering personnel.
