SIGNICAST
DIVES IN
"We like Hartford," says Signicast CEO
Terry Lutz. "That's why we expanded our business
here." It's also why the company donated $250,000 to
help build a first-class aquatics center in Hartford:
the Signicast Family Aquatics Center. "We
wanted our name on the center so that every Signicast
employee would know how much we value them and
their work, and care about their quality of life,"
Lutz adds. Read

But the aquatics center that bears our name provides only one example of how Signicast devotes itself to the Hartford community. Other ways the company has helped support the local community include:
- Making a donation to help save and restore the Chandelier Ballroom, a Hartford landmark for more than 80 years.
- Making a donation to the Schauer Art Center. In turn, tickets provided by the center are given to Signicast employees with outstanding records.
- Being an official corporate sponsor of Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society fundraising event. In addition, many corporate teams are involved in the event, a 24-hour running relay.
- Getting employees involved in volunteer work thoughout the community.
- Making numerous other donations, all with the goal of making Washington County a better place to live and work. Past recipients have included youth centers, the public library, community fireworks displays, senior facilities, and many others.
In addition, Signicast makes its facilities readily available for tours by area schools, local associations, and other groups.
